"Male Principle" and "Female principlequot; - Yin Yang |
|
Since 1980, I chose to continue my activities in France.
Here, I am fully conscious of my japanese origins. I perceive more and more influence of the Far East thought :
Yin representing the female principle and Yang representing the male principle.
These two principles may also be interpreted in several other ways :
positive et négative, light and darkness, hot and cold, hard and soft,
full and empty .......
..... so many elements which take place into my works. |

Taka Mizukami is characterized by a harmonious composition, refined and sensitive between the forms, the colors and the matters. Using marble dust, mineral pigments and gold sheets, applied onto wood or toile, he makes us enter into his universe.
A universe influenced by the Woman and the Bull themas, power and lightness, virility and femininity. All is only suggestions and successful overlaps.
« I draw my inspiration from cosmos, from its perfect and infinite organization. »
